Our landlord has told us that there will soon be a vacant apartment in our building. If anyone knows anyone who needs a place, it's a 1BR, and it will probably be around $300-$400 a month. Mostly hardwood floors, being completely restored because the last guy was a nutjob. Woohoo!

Also, for anyone who is interested: The unit next-door to me is for sale. $79k is the asking price, but you could probably lowball it for less. With interest rates the way they are, that can equate to a really decent mortgage in a pimp neighborhood with one helluva kickass neighbor.
Not great for anyone who is a U Student, but for a place to live that's also an investment vehicle... it rocks. Plus my neighborhood pwnz and has more conveniences than Sugarhouse on steroids.
