Nice! The Bosstones have always done a lot of good covers in my mind, but I've never heard that one.......gotta respect the KISS cover.

Not sure what direction you wanna go with that, but here's a version by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones: Would this be a cover keeping it close to the original, or making it sound totally different? |

I'll scope that after work if I can. I dig everything but the chorus. Really, just the bass intro is pretty sweet. Plus that whole guitar riff during the verses. Vocally, I don't really have a roadmap in mind yet. I'm still working on piecing that one together. |

That's where I get stuck, too. The original vocal setup is so unique, it's very difficult to stray from it and still make it sound good. And if you don't change it, the whole song pretty much just sounds the same as the original..... |

thats freakin rad! I think because its a bar gig, you should have some alcoholic songs. Example- ac/dc, have a drink on me vanhalen, bottoms up george thorogood, one bourbon one scotch one beer ya know, just to patronize the drunks. |
